I rebuilt the public site for the University of Twente team developing autonomous aircraft for disaster-response challenges.
Turns live Linux kernel activity into sound. eBPF captures the system; a C++ engine maps it to synth, MIDI, and OSC.
A Redis-compatible server in C++ with RESP, persistence, concurrent clients, and a custom event loop.
A CHIP-8 emulator in C++ and SDL2, built to understand a virtual machine from instruction fetch to display.
Security research, systems programming, and projects that were too cool to keep silent.

My dad bet me dinner that I couldn't hack a website while we were on holiday. The website was fine. The hospital PACS behind it was open to the internet with about 145,000 studies inside.

We built a Quarto bot for a university competition and got a little carried away. It chokes out safe moves, then switches over to a perfect endgame solver.

I bought ilia.beer on the train home because the domain made me laugh. A few weeks later it was running from a Raspberry Pi and people could actually use it to buy me beer.
I’m Ilia, a computer science student and engineer from Iran who moved to the Netherlands. My work spans systems programming, offensive security, and web products people actually use.
I really enjoy good music and art, and I play the Setar. Growing up with Eastern philosophy and Persian poetry also shaped my love of philosophy.
What draws me to a project is usually how cool it sounds in my head, so whatever you see here probably sounded cool af to me at some point :)
